Donna Wilbur

Donna Wilbur, age 53, died on April 22, 2011 after a valiant fight against ovarian cancer. Donna worked at Hillcrest Animal Hospital for 30 years and took excellent care of all the animals she touched. She was a championship bowler, an outstanding softball athlete, an accomplished equestrian and enjoyed gardening. She had a generous spirit and always put others first. She had a great wit and sense of humor and will be greatly missed by Debbie McKenzie, sister, of Arvada, CO, David Wilbur, brother, and his wife Ellyn, of Goodlettsville, TN, Diane Wilbur, sister and caregiver, of Memphis, Jennifer Hornsby, niece, of Memphis, and a host of friends and coworkers. Visitation will be at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Avenue on Monday, April 25, 2011. Friends are invited from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. A graveside service will be held following visitation at Memphis Memory Gardens at 1:00 pm at 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Rd. The family would like to thank Dr. Margaret Gore, her office staff, and the staff at Baptist Hospital for providing excellent care during Donna’s illness.
