Doreen A. Walker, 89, of Memphis, Tennessee died March 5, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Walker was a retired secretary for the nutrition department of the Memphis Board of Education and was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Her family will receive guests on Friday, March 9 from 9AM until funeral services begin at 10AM all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 5599 Poplar Avenue. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband Adrian Francis Walker and a son Mark Kevin Walker. She is survived by her daughter Ann Geary (Pete) of Memphis; sons Kenneth Walker (Cathy) of Houston, TX, Adrian Walker of Coldwater, MS, Timothy Walker (Gina) of Memphis and David Walker (Georgia) of Cordova, TN; grandchildren Sheila, Daniel & Phillip Geary, Paul Bell, Anna Arnold, Charles Celis, Eric, Allen & Hillary Walker, and Jessie & John Long; two great-grandchildren Caroline Arnold and Maddox Phillips.
