Dorothy Faye Parrish Taylor, 88, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, James Taylor, a granddaughter, Sarah Ferguson, and two brothers, Sam Parrish and Wayne Parrish. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters, Jan Ferguson (Jere), Patti Champion (James), grandchildren, Jeremy Ferguson and Taylor Champion, great-grandchildren, Savannah Griffis and Hunter Ferguson, four siblings and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved her family, whom always came first, and made a home for a living. The family cordially invites friends to share remembrances of Mrs. Taylor on Wednesday, November the 2nd from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the time of service at two o'clock in the afternoon at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. in Memphis. The Rite of Committal will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following. Memorial contributions can be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
