Dorothy Williams Gray

Dorothy Williams Gray, 92 passed away July 8, 2014 at Sterling House Assisted Living community in Niceville, FL. She was a lifelong member of Lindsay Memorial and Advent Presbyterian Churches. She was the daughter of Russell L. and Kathleen Moore Williams. Mr. Williams was the founder of Williams Shade and Awning Company of which she was a Director and Corporate Secretary.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 63 years, Aubrey A. Gray. She is survived by her son, R. Allen Gray and his wife, Gloria of The Villages, FL and granddaughter, Holly R. Gray of Charleston, SC.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday July 24, at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel, the family will receive friends for one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Youth Villages of Memphis or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
