Dorothy Dupree Hollomon passed away on May 5, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Julian W. Hollomon. Her sons Thomas W. Hollomon of Collierville, TN and Chester D. Hollomon of Rome, GA, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive her. Her sisters, Anne D. Terhune and Edna D. Majors along with a brother, Dr. James P. Dupree, Jr, also survive her.
She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church and was for forty years a member of the United Methodist Church of Horn Lake, MS.
She was formerly a member of Golden Key Circle of the Kings Daughters Home, Nineteenth Century Club, and the Salvation Army Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held May 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral services will be on May 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Ave. Burial will be at New Bethlehem Cemetery in Horn Lake, MS for family members only. Memorials should be sent to St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.
