Douglas Eugene Gibson, 77, passed away March 18, 2022. He was a graduate of Memphis State University with a degree in Philosophy and worked as a traffic consultant. He was a parishioner at St. Paul Catholic Church. Mr. Gibson loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kim Gibson, parents and a sister, Dorothy Camille Gibson Pate.
He is survived by a son, Chien Pham and daughter in law, Marilyn Pham; grandchildren, Alexandria Pham Cagle (Matthew), Tristan Pham and Caitlynn Pham; sister in law, Kim Pham; brother in law, Van Pham; niece, Holly Pate, and nephews, Brad Pate and Michael Pham.
The family will receive friends on Friday March 25, 2022 at Family Funeral Care, from 5- 8 p.m., 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on March 26 at 10 a.m.
