Edward Allen Campbell

Edward was born to Silas Edwin Campbell and Acenith Ann (nee) Vangilder, March 15, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, MO. He graduated from Campus High School in 1948. He married Norma Jean Jones February 27, 1954.

He leaves as his legacy, his wife of 63 years Norma Campbell; 1 child: Alan Jeffrey Campbell, married to Mechelli (nee) Lollar, and grandson Silas Wilton, all of Germantown, TN. He also leaves to cherish his memory his brother Jerry Campbell, of Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was preceded in death by his mother & father, and by his sister Doris Langston.

Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force 1950-1954, and served honorably in the Korean War. Edward was the General Manager of Cape Manufacturing Co. until he retired in 1992.

A funeral service is scheduled for January 5 at 11:30, with visitation at 10:30, at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 5296 Park Ave, Memphis, TN, 38119. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Christ The King building fund.
