He dedicated his life to Jehovah God at an early age.
He wed Curtyss Oretha Wade on May 10th in 1947 and from that union 11 children were born. He worked as a Foreman for Bank Builders of America. He was a plasterer by trade and took pride in showing his work around the tri-state area. He trained his sons in this trade as well as many others. He was always willing to use his craft at local Kingdom Hall remodels when requested. He also assisted in the original Memphis Assembly Hall project. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and he really enjoyed himself when he was engaging in these activities. He will always be remembered as a nice, caring, humble, friendly person that would always smile. He never met a stranger. He was a good family head and provider. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren adored him because of his wonderful qualities.
