Edward Kelley, “Barney”, 88, of Memphis, passed away on Monday, June 5th, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Ethel Meadors Kelley, and four siblings. Mr. Kelley is survived by his loving wife Nancy Kelley, children, Delbra Stacy (Randy), Madonna Austin, Patti Jarman (Wayne), Shelia Nowak (Colin), and James Collins (Dee), five grandchildren, five and a half great-grandchildren, and a sister, Edna Little. Mr. Kelley served proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Southern Central as an Adjustor. He was a member of Elleston Baptist Church as well as being a member and founder of the Memphis Knife Collectors Club. His favorite hobbies included fishing and hunting. The family invites friends and relatives to share memories of Mr. Kelley on Wednesday, June 7th from 5-8pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue in Memphis. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 10am also at the funeral home. The burial will immediately follow at 2pm at Shady Grove Cemetery in Saltillo, TN.
