Elizabeth "June" Walton, age 81, of Memphis, Tennessee went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Roy and Norine Walton, as well as her brother, Arthur "AJ" Johnson Walton. June is survived by her sisters: Sandra L. Smith, Rosamary W. Posey and Martha J. Walton. Also left behind with sweet memories are her nieces/nephew: Adell Tripson, Becky Thomas (John) and Adam Smith (Heather), and seven great nieces and nephews.
June was smart as a whip and could tell you any Jerry Lewis Telethon totals of money raised dating back to the very first year they ran. She loved her shows, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and I Love Lucy. She loved reading her Webster's dictionary and knew every word in it also she loved counting her money and gifting it away.
Her mother cared for her from the moment she was born with a brain injury up until the day her mother passed at 98 years old. June's family stepped up and took care of her until the very end.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Great Southern Senior Living for taking care of June for the last six months of her life.
The family requests donations to be made to the charity of the donors choice in memory of June.
We are going to miss her, but we are sure Mother, Dad, AJ and Jesus welcomed her for a Walton Family Reunion.
