Elsie Stafford Harmon Bloodworth, 98, passed away at Methodist Alliance Hospice on July 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmore Harmon and Barney Bloodworth, a son (Scott), a grandson (Christopher), her parents, a brother, and two sisters.
Affectionately called “Daisy” by her family, Elsie leaves her daughter Terri Harmon Dean (Bill), a son Steven Harmon (Sheila), 5 grandsons, and 6 great grandchildren.
Elsie was a successful real estate broker and then started her own company that sold hotel furnishings. With a friend, Elsie started the FF & E Golf Tournament of which the proceeds were donated to the Hemophilia Foundation. Her efforts resulted in more money donated to that foundation than any other donor in Tennessee. Elsie enjoyed playing golf and crafting. She became a Master Gardener and volunteered at several local gardens.
A celebration of life will be at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Ave. on August 2, 2025 at 1:00 o’clock. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00. Graveside services will be private for the family.
