Essie L. Norris, 90, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2016.She is survived by her children, Timothy Norris and Teresa Hataway (Johnny); her grandchildren: T.J Norris, Kasey Norris, Sara Nicholas and Weston Hataway. Her brothers, Charles Adair (Jean) and Stanford Adair (Geneva) of Mississippi. Essie was a lifelong member of Berclair Baptist Church and retired from the family's masonry contracting business. She loved to cook and socialize and enjoyed her participation in 19th Century Club, Exchange Club, and PTAH. Essie is preceded in death by her parents, Flossie and Malone Adair; brothers, William, Jamie and Dean Adair.She is also preceded in death by her soul mate, Frank Norris, Jr. to whom she was married to for 38 years.She was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend and will be greatly missed. The service will be Monday, February, 29 at Family Funeral Care ( 4925 Summer Ave ) at 10 a.m. with a visitation at 9 a.m.
