He graduated from Bartlett High School before serving 18 months in the Armed Forces
during World War II. He retired from Sears after 44 years, was a member of Bartlett Hills
Baptist Church and was the most generous, kind and loving person. He was loved by many
and will be greatly missed. He was very active in the Shrine and Masonic Lodge, serving in many roles including,

He worked in the Scottish Rite kitchen for over 30 years.
He also served on the board of the Scottish Rite Foundation
Al Chymia Shrine - Joined 1974
Served many years on the Hospital Transportation Staff delivering
patients to the various Shrine Hospitals. EE made 300-400 trips to
the hospitals between 1985 and 2006. He made his 80th trip to
the Cincinnati hospital just before his 80th birthday when drivers
must officially retire from driving patients to the hospitals.

E E was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Ferguson, his parents, 4 brothers
and one sister.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Ferguson (Audra) and Craig Ferguson
(Jenny) and his grandchildren, Garrett and Conner, Casey and Rachel.
He also leaves his longtime friend and companion, Betty Emmons.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 17 from 12:00 to 2:00 at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
