I miss you Ma. These last 7 months have been hell LITERALLY!!!

Jean and I use to talk everyday until she became sick. I would get mad at her when she didn't answer my calls and say I'm going to un-auntie you until I get un mad. She would say I don't care. Then she would ask where Braylen. Then we would talk and laugh. I'm gonna miss you so much. Take your rest Auntie you will continue to live through us. Every rainbow I see going forward I know it's you visiting us. Love Brandye Braylen and Brielle

Aunt Jean always made me feel like family and welcome anytime we were together.  My heart goes out to Towanda and her family as they adjust to their new life together. I’m praying and love all of you.

Ms. Jean was such a sweet lady. At one point, I would spend every Sunday at their home. Whenever I asked, she had no problem making me lemon meringue pies. She would just say "yes, bring me your stuff!" Last time, I visited she talked about how much fun she had in Hawaii and told me I needed to go. While Ms. Jean, I finally made it to Hawaii and it was everything that you described. You will truly be missed.  Sending my prayers and condolences to Towanda and the family during this time.

Ms Jean, you will truly be missed. Hurt no more, rest in peace beautiful lady.

I am missing you already 😢 especially you fussing at me when I come over.  You always kept me in line while also making me smile. Love you forever 💓

You was always sweet to me. No matter if it was with a big hug or a kiss on the cheeks. THANK YOU. You gave us the best parts of you when you allowed Towanda to be my sister. I know it was hard to leave her and the boys but you left them in our hands. And we will take care of them.  THANK YOU MOMMA. REST IN LOVE ❤️

Ms. Evelyn you will be missed dearly. I absolutely loved how you helped Towanda with all the cooking she was doing. I appreciate you coming to my daughter's wedding and serving with Towanda as she catered. Everytime I saw you, you had a warm smile for me. Gone but never forgotten.💜🙏🏾

Ms. Jean was always good for a great laugh and sincere advice. From the time Towanda and I became roommates, to us NOT being roommates and to us being lifelong friends, Ms. Jean has always been steadfast. Rest well & job well done! Your legacy has been etched into eternity.

Rest on Pepper, it was a journey for you. I will truly miss you as you move upward to your heavenly home. Love you your niece Brenda "monettea" Cox Joyner.  The middle name you gave me.
