Frances Marie Stephens

She was married to Billy "Catfish" Stephens on December 18th, 1959. He preceded her in death in 2005. Together, they had 6 children: Doug Stephens (Renee) of Millington, TN, Gene Stephens (Phyllis) of Louisville, KY, Sherry Culpepper (David) of Bartlett, TN, Rhonda Conway (John) of Piperton, TN, Dale Stephens (Debbie) of Atoka, TN, and Jason Stephens (Leigh) of Bartlett, TN.

Marie has 16 grandchildren: Jessica, Kacie, Kelly, Emily, Katie, Brooke, Taylor, Colin, Cody, Hunter, Drake, Alexis, Wyatt, Matthew, Jackson, and Lexie. She also has 13 great-grandchildren: Mackenzie, Maggie, Sadie, Bayleigh, Mason, Hughes, Finley, Barrett, Aspen, Christopher, Hattie, Wes, and Martie.

She was a devoted wife to Billy and a loving mother to her 6 children and many others. She loved to do crafts and attend crafts shows. She was also a 25-year member at West Frayser Baptist Church and former member of Frayser Baptist Church. She loved to sing in the choir, and she loved to play the piano. She was faithful in her faith to the very end. She loved the Lord with all her soul. This is not goodbye but see you soon. We love you!

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Graveside will immediately follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
