

Frank Roy Kettler, 97, of Memphis, passed away on August 5, 2017, at VA Medical Center Memphis. Mr. Kettler was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served aboard the Naval Destroyer DD 400 USS McCall. He retired from the City of Memphis Code Enforcement Department where he worked as a Safety Engineer. Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5062, and he was an amateur radio operator, N4BSL. Mr. Kettler was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita M. Kettler; and his son, Ronald Kettler. He is survived by his daughter, Gail L. Hepler; his son, Thomas L. Kettler; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Catholic Church of the Resurrection, and Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, with military honors.
