I was so sadden to hear the passing of Gail. I met Gail when I started to work for UofM Anthropology as the department Administrative Associate over twenty years ago. She was adjunct teaching faculty and welcomed me to the department with that bright smile, cheery attitude, witty sense of humor and just a beautiful spirit.  I'm going to truly miss her dropping by the office laughing and having conversations about work & life in general.  Gail was smart and one of a kind who myself &  our Anthropology department Admin. Secretary Ms. Ballard adopted as our very own work sister who was like family to us.  Sending hugs, love and prayers to the entire House Family! I was honored to be one of Gail's teachers for her MA in medical anthropology, and to serve on her doctoral committee. Gail was one of the smartest, kindest, most caring people I've ever met. It is often difficult to express the sentiments of our hearts and minds to someone, especially, when they are grieving and mourning the loss of a loved one. Many times good and wholesome thoughts of others pass through our hearts and for what ever reasons as we and they live, we do not make attempts to make our thoughts known. I thank God for the redemption that he created for all for it is that redemption that caused us to cross paths and I am very thankful to have met you, Gail and Gabriel. My timing is late because I cannot let Gail know this right now anyway, but Keith, I want you to know that I have always had, and still do, a wonderful fondness and love for you and your family because of the aura you all exhibited which I believed to be genuine.
