Born on June 24, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, Garry was a lifelong Memphian.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Nancy Lynn Bailey.
Garry is survived by his daughters LaShay (Buddy) Bailey - Bell of Memphis and Whitney (Garrett) Bailey - Phillips of Southaven, Mississippi; and his two granddaughters Ollie Bailey and Addie Bailey - Phillips.
Family and friends will gather on Monday, September 14 beginning at one o'clock in the afternoon until funeral services start at two o'clock all at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church, 4800 MS-305, Olive Branch, Mississippi 38654.
LaShay and Whitney suggest any donations in Garry's name be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
