Gene was like a dad to us and there isn't a day that goes by that we don't think of him and miss him so much. He touched our lives in so many ways. We thank God for the time that we had with him. He will forever be in our hearts. We walked with him for just a little while but Gene Gleaves left an impression on us that will last forever. We love you Gene!!

I knew Gene for 48 years. I met him when he had a station in Nashville across from my house. Gene has been a great friend thru the years. I have not seen Gene recently and this I regret. My condolencesm to Lisa and the children. I only knew Chuck and Muffin and Michael as a baby. Gene was a good man and always took care of his family. Rest in peace my friend.

I was a towman in the city of Memphis for sixteen years, From time to time I would visit Gleaves Wrecker Service to pick up cars to take them on to wherever they were going, I was always well aware of the reputation and the heritage of gleaves Towing, Mr. gleaves was always very nice to me and would sometimes invite me to sit down in His office and visit with Him when there was time, He was a very nice and calm man, That had the utmost respect for the Towing Industry and the men and women who served in it, I am sorry to hear of His passing away and want to send prayers to his family, He was a great service to our community.

Gene was truly one of the kindest men I have ever known. A true southern gentalman. I feel blessed to have had him love my daughter Jessica and to be part of our lives. He always treated us as if we were family. To Lisa, CC, Justina and Michael our prayers are with you always. The service was a true tribute to a wonderful man. I am honored to have had both Gene and the Gleaves family in my life. Rest in peace my dear Gene. We will love you forever and always. Dale Markham

I remember the strawberry muffins you made us before school. Then zooming down our street in that red cadillac. Always a smile on your face, and a laugh to go with. Gone but never forgotten. We love you guys.
