Genevieve A. Austin

Genevieve A. Austin, 95, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Memphis, TN. She enjoyed word puzzles, working in her flower beds, and roses were her favorite flower. Genevieve cherished anything to do with Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Austin; and sister, Elizabeth E. Koon. She is survived by her nephew, Wade Koon of Memphis, TN; great-nieces, Stacy Wright (Matt) of Oxford, MS, and Ashley Edwards (John) of Arlington, TN; 3 great-great-nieces and 1 great-great-nephew. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 9-10am with a funeral service at 10am all at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave., Memphis, TN 38122. A burial will follow at Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
