George Donald Collins, age 76, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born in Madison County, TN on March 26, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Nell Collins.
George was a longtime member of Steamfitter Union. He taught Welding for 19 years at East High High School. He collected specialty cars, rode motorcycles and he loved pretty plants and flowers.
He leaves to cherish memory his loving wife of 27 years, Melody Collins; sisters, Patricia of Jackson, TN, Margaret Belken of Charlotte, NC, Dale McMurtrey of Munford, TN and Sandy Kirby of Lakeland, TN.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00pm with services to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
