Ginger was born on January 17th, 1961 in Memphis, TN to Norma Jean and Fred Billingsley. She passed away on January 12th, 2023 after a prolonged illness at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Ginger leaves her daughter Kristi of Memphis, TN. She also leaves a sister, Sandy Stacy (John) of Atoka, TN. Her nephews are Chris Rose (Terra) of Atoka, TN and Paul Caesar of Chattanooga, TN and nieces Gina Huddleston (Shane) of Collierville, TN and Jessica Stacy of Atoka, TN. She also had three great nephews and one great niece.
She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, “Bebe,” mother Norma J. Accardi, and sister Sharon Caesar.
While Ginger believed her greatest personal achievement was her daughter. Professionally she flourished as a loyal employee at Vining-Sparks for the past 24 years. She retired in 2022.
She lived in Atoka, TN for the past 9 years. Prior to that she lived in Olive Branch, MS and Memphis, TN.
Ginger had an unbridled love for her dogs. She leaves Snow, Pedro and Toby in her sister’s care.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the ASPCA and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
A visitation for Ginger will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
