Gladys Marie Daniel

Gladys Marie Daniel, 98 years old, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 after a short illness. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey O. Daniel. She is survived by her daughter, Shelby (William) Eldridge and son Ronney (Saundra) Daniel; four grandchildren, Angela and Derek Eldridge and Emily and Ben Daniel. Marie was one of seven children born in Des Ark, Arkansas to the late Raleigh & Carrie Jernigan. She lived in Memphis most of her life, was an avid puzzle worker, and loved basketball and a huge Tiger fan. Mrs. Daniel was also a faithful member of Leawood Baptist Church for over 34 years. Family and friends will gather at Family Funeral Care at 9AM on Tuesday, December 12 until funeral services begin at 10AM. Burial will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff of King's Daughter and Sons Nursing home for their love and care shown to Marie and the family.
