Gladys Dugard Heinz, 97, went to presence of her Lord February 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years, William F. Heinz, Sr.; by her daughter Gladys Mae; her son, Charles and her brothers, Calvin, Bill, Ralph and John.
She is survived by her daughters, Mildred (Walter) Fingar, Jean (Mike) Smith, Mary (Randy) Lockley, her sons Fred, Jr. (Frances), James (Jane), Ray (Sarah), David (Carolyn), her daughter-in-law Freda, and her sister-in-law Wilma Dugard and 33 grandchildren and 89 great-grandchildren and 38 great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends, Saturday February 20, 2016 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 21 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mrs. Heinz may be offered to Christ Church of Arlington or to Child Evangelism Fellowship.
