September 9, 1956, Glenda “Renee” Lanshaw was born, to Wilbur & Francis Tuttle. Born and raised in Memphis she graduated Sheffield High School in 1974. She went on to meet the love of her life, Dean Lanshaw, and raised a family as a housewife, in the heart of Frayser, Tennessee. She was a loving wife, amazing mother, a thoughtful friend, and even a second mom to all the neighborhood kids. She enjoyed cooking, Memphis State football, and Nascar.
On Monday, January 9th, 2024, her story came to its final chapter, as she was reunited with her parents, husband, and best friend, Donna Biggs.
Renee is survived by her 2 brothers, Stacey Tuttle and his wife & Stuart Tuttle and his wife, 3 sons, Jason Gray, Patrick Lanshaw, & Dustin Lanshaw. Her memory will be forever cherished by her 8 grandchildren Kenzie Lanshaw, Cali Lanshaw, Parker Wilson, Brantley Green, Rebecca Gray, Sara Praytor, & Cheyenne Gray. It is with a heavy heart that we all can no longer see you with our eyes, or hold you with our hands, but we will forever feel you in our hearts.
A visitation for Glenda will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN 38134.
