Glenda Kay Payne (Miller) passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Kirby Pines Retirement Community, Memphis, TN. She was born in Princeton, Missouri on February 19, 1941, to Vene and Glendoris Miller. Glenda married Larry N. Payne on 4/16/61. They had four daughters: Atonya, Andrea, Alisa, and Aniesje. Glenda was a hair stylist, and she enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidering, crocheting, needlepointing, and genealogy as hobbies. Family get-togethers were some of her favorite activities. She was preceded in death by her parents Vene and Glendoris Miller; her husband, Larry Payne; and her daughter, Andrea Akers; and her sister, Arlene Ramirez. She is survived by her daughters Alisa Vincent, Memphis, TN, Aniesje Duncan, Kansas City, MO and Atonya (unknown location) and her sister, Jolene Reynolds, Parkville, MO; seven grandsons, and 13 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be buried in Sweet Springs, MO at Fairlawn Cemetery.
