She was the daughter of Marion Alvin Curde & Winnie Pearl Curde born in Watauga, Tennessee on August 5, 1926.
Grace’s life began as the 5th of 7 children in the mountains of East Tennessee. She moved to Memphis toward the end of WWII to train as a nurse. While in school she met and married Dr. Arthur L. Bellott, Jr. and after a short time in San Antonio, Texas remained in Memphis until her death. She enjoyed attending and supporting the symphony, the Brooks & Dixon Museums and volunteered for many of the Wonders Exhibits held in Memphis. She was a member of the UT Auxiliary and enjoyed reading, traveling and attending the many activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by son Alvin Roy Bellott and husband Dr. Arthur Lawrence Bellott, Jr.
She is survived by her children Thomas Edward Bellott, Arthur Lawrence Bellott III (Dominique), Karen Bellott Street (David) and C. Daniel Bellott (Mary Lynn). Brother Frank Luke Curde and sisters-in-law Dottie Bellott and Ardith Curde, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Sherryce her caregiver who loved and cared for her these past few years.
A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 28 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Distant family and friends who cannot attend in person may view the service via livestream at www.memphisfuneralpoplar.com
