Harold "Bill" William Bishop, 84, passed away in his sleep a his home on Thursday, August 3, 2017 in Memphis, TN. A celebration of life service will be held from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday August 13, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave Memphis, TN 38122. Bill was born February 11, 1933 in Akron, Ohio. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Spending time with his family, especially outdoors with his grandchildren was a highlight of his day. Bill was always there to listen and lend a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rose Bishop (2015). Survived by his two daughters, Janice Bishop, who was his caregiver, of Memphis, TN and Cheryl (John) Jensen of Memphis, TN; son, Don Bishop of Eads, TN; grandchildren, Sandy, William, Andrew, Todd and Brian; ten great-grandchildren and two sisters, Barbara and Susan of Akron, Ohio.
