He was a loving husband to his late wife Ginny. He was a devoted father to daughter, Natalie. He loved spending time and going on trips with wife and daughter, he gave his daughter a life time of childhood and adulthood memories that she will hold close to her heart forever.
Harold served our Country in the US ARMY in the 173rd Airborne.
Harold loved watching his daughter at swim practices and meets when she was younger.
He served in the Vietnam War as a medic and was awarded numerous medals and other awards.
Harold received a Bachelor degree in journalism from Arkansas State. During his career he worked for several different newspapers like the Commercial Appeal and started many of his own publications such as The Wellness Guide until retirement. Harold lived a full life, was a World Traveler: he loved telling stories to his in-laws Phillip and William and his 3 grandsons.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Natalie Hooker (Phillip), sisters, Donna Wroten, Glenda Jones, Gloria Wojciechowski and 3 grandsons (William, Kyle and Tyler). He was preceded in Death by, father, Charles Glyndon Jones, mother, Alma P. King McAuliffe, and his wife, Virginia “Ginny” Jones, grandson, Luke (Warren).
The last weeks of his life he was baptized at home in a special ceremony with his daughter, son in law, Sister (Donna), cousin (Ruby) nieces, and Family friend Renee.
He was a good man who lived a great life that was full of love. He was a man of great character. He will be missed by so many.
