Harry Allen Warren Jr., age 79, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. He was born October 29, 1944 in Memphis to Harry Allen Warren, Sr. and Geraldine Talley Warren. He retired from Memphis Light, Gas, and Water. He was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary Linda Warren; children, Tammy Connolly, Dawn Marie Anderson (Chris), Deanna Shelton, and Jimmy Warren; step-daughter, Jennifer Spencer (Stephen); grandchildren, Brittany Villondo (Vonn), Alex Barthol (Stephanie), McKenzie Shelton, Suzanna Connolly, Sean Anderson, Ben Anderson, Justin Anderson, and Jaden Spencer; great-grandchildren, Jillian Villondo, Tess Villondo, Barrett Barthol, and Lillah Barthol. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Warren in 1998 and two sisters, Pamela Beene and Cindy Baugues.
Harry was an avid University of Memphis Tigers fan. He enjoyed gardening, camping, making people smile, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1 from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:30 AM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Graveside service with military honors will immediately follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN.
