Hazel Roberts

Hazel Ellis Roberts, 77, of Germantown passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. Born in Sunflower, MS to Kelly Ellis Sr. and Audrey Ellis. Hazel was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church, an avid bridge & Mah-Jongg player, Memphis Tiger & Grizzlies fan. Mrs. Roberts was a beautiful person inside and out, lived life to the fullest, cherished all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Edward Roberts in 2002; and is survived by her daughters, Debi Reeves (Jimmy) of Germantown, Gina Roberts of Memphis and Melody Asplund (Ron) of Collierville; grandchildren; Caleb Williams, Jacob Asplund, Joshua (Jordan) Asplund, Jeremy Asplund, Jordan Asplund, Tammy Chapman, Jacob Reeves, Hassan HajjHoussein and Sam (Hend) HajjHoussein; great grandchildren; Cody Chapman, Abigail Chapman and Piper Williams; sister, Helen Love of Greenville, MS; brothers, Kelly Ellis, Jr of San Francisco, CA and Robert Ellis of Biloxi, MS. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Bubrial will follow at 3:00 pm at Moorhead Cemetery, Moorhead, MS. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be sent to Wings Cancer Foundation (West Clinic), 100 N.
