Helen Jean Phillips, 83, passed away October 11, 2016. She was retired from Coletta’s Restaurant after serving more than 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Phillips; two sons, Michael Ray Phillips and Tommy Wayne Phillips. She is survived by a daughter, Libby (Kenneth) Cox; grandchildren, Tommy Cox, Michael Cox, Tiffany Roberts, Tommy Phillips Jr., Lindsey Phillips, Michael Phillips and Colton Wayne Phillips; great-grandchildren, Ian Phillips, Grace Cox, Haley Phillips, Macie Cox, Riley Elg, Caleb Elg, Dylan Robbins, Sky Robbins and Dawson Robbins and one brother, Bobby C. (Linda) Mills. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 8:30 am until 9:00 am. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am all in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis.
