Henry "Jim" James Hughes Jr., 55, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. Jim was a simple man who loved spending time with his family. His favorite pastime included watching NASCAR or golfing. Jim will be remembered for his brave, kindhearted, and loving spirit. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harriet Bowen and Henry Hughes Sr. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Lorri Hughes; a son, Henry James Hughes III; his mother in law, Margo Rathell; two sisters, Christine Vanskiver and Diane Gray; four brothers, Robert Gray, Michael Hughes, William and Michael Bowen. Family will receive guest on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis, TN 38122. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm.
