Henry Joseph Ward, Jr., 85, of Memphis, passed away on July 3, 2017. Born on October 5, 1931, Mr. Ward was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force. For many years, he worked in insurance sales and later owned his own construction company. Henry was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Leila Scott Lodge. He is survived by two sons, Henry Joseph “Chip” Ward, III and Timothy Joseph (Ward) Mitchell; two daughters, Kristi Ward Pearson and Debra Ward Stringer; six grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
