Hermie Lee Tennyson, 83, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at The Highlands of Memphis. Mrs. Tennyson was an avid bowler and camper. She was also a fan of Memphis State Tigers Basketball and a member of Wells Station Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Tennyson. Mrs. Tennyson is survived by one daughter, Donna Larsen; one son, Gary Hall (Janet); two sisters, Marie Gilliard and Jean Tomlison; one brother, Quitman Johnny Beaty; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, August 29 from 5 to 8 pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Funeral service will be Saturday at the funeral home at 2 pm with burial to follow in Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh LaGrange Rd.
