Howard E. Bryant, age 80 of Olive Branch, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. He was born December 29, 1932 in Ripley, Mississippi to the late Elijah Lafayette Bryant, and Ruby Mae Ballard Bryant Thomas. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Bailey Bryant; two daughters, Pamela Yvonne Hughes, and Sheila Denise Soliman (Tarek); one son, Keith E. Bryant (Kathy); one sister, Joann Beasley (Marvin); two brothers, Gene Bryant, and Dennis Thomas (Audrey); 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 28 from 5-7 PM at Family Funeral Care located on Summer Avenue, with refreshments provided. Funeral services will be 10 AM Monday, July 29 at Family Funeral Care. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. In Howard’s memory, memorials may be made to The Pentecostal Church (TPC) of Memphis, 4820 S. Germantown Rd. 38141.
