Jack proudly served in the United States Army and after his honorable discharge attended and graduated from The University of Georgia. Throughout his career and life Jack was beloved by all who knew him. His infectious smile and Christ like love will forever be fondly remembered. His greatest love next to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was Donna, his wife of nearly sixty years. Jack loved working in his yard and playing the piano and did so at home and at his church, Germantown Christian Center. His children always heard the words, “I love you” and it was impossible to think otherwise.
A committal service for Jack will be held Monday, March 28, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his memory to Germantown Christian Center, 7040 Stout Road, Germantown, TN 38138, (901) 753-7777.
