Jacob Lee Counce

Jacob Lee Counce, 25, passed away April 9, 2017. He was an avid hunter and sports fan, who had enjoyed playing competitive baseball growing up. He was in his junior year at the University of Memphis, and had previously earned his Associate’s Degree in Air Traffic Control. He spent several years working as a bartender and worked at Counce Marine of Memphis.

He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and by an uncle, Doug Kreiger.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa (Todd) McMillon; by his father, Eric (Christy) Counce; daughter, Peyton Ambrose; sisters, Cortney Counce, Saige Counce, Caela McMillon and Whitney McMillon; brother Austin Crisp; grandparents, Melvin and Karen Dowling; uncles, Steve Kreiger, Dave Kreiger, Mike Counce, and many, many friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12 from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home.
