James Edward O'Toole Jr.

Born in Memphis on February 14, 1966, James was the son of James and Frances O'Toole. He graduated from Memphis Catholic High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Journalism, from Christian Brothers College.

After a successful career with one of the nation's largest print marketing corporations, James returned to his hometown to dedicate his talents to serving others through nonprofit work. For nearly seven years, he was proud to be a member of the Porter-Leath team, where he found great fulfillment in supporting children and families throughout the Memphis community.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances O'Toole.

He is survived by his sisters, Theresa O'Toole, Patsy O'Toole, and Mary O'Toole; his triplet brothers, Daniel O'Toole, Sr. and Michael O'Toole and his wife, Debbie; his nephews, Daniel O'Toole, Jr. and Timothy O'Toole; and many cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 19 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119, with a prayer service beginning at 4:00pm. Private burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
