I just learned about James' passing. I worked with his wife Verleen at Gastro One and got to know her husband and daughter through her. James visited Verleen almost every day so they could have lunch together. They were a close and loving couple. My prayers are with the family. May God bless you all.

Lord Jesus!!! My cousin……… James is his birth name, but we all called him Nooty!!! He was a joy and a great person inside and out. I will always love you Cousin!!!! I know you’re celebrating with your parents, siblings, and your aunts!!! I know that’s a reunion! Thank you Jesus for allowing James Nooty Wilborn to be in my family. Not only was Noot a mess in school, he was just a mess, a good mess he was definitely a puzzle piece that our puzzle will be missing greatly. I remember him working at the Exxon   station on 49  when the Tschabolds owned it. Noot was a flat fixin fool. He loved to make people laugh, he was the life of the party. He was a chef in his own rights, he actually cooked for our last class reunion. He found his queen from the New Addition in west helena  as my Aunt Diddy so eloquently calls it. He had his soulmate and that is so wonderful. She will always have his heart. Verlene just know that it is a journey you have started but your are not alone........never alone. God will continue to supply you with all of your needs. Been there and still I grieve but you know what...... there is a peace of mind in the mix. You are surrounded by Love.  I know that James Wilborn loved his family.  To all of the family I bid you my deepest condolences, thats about half of phillips county.Most of my church members are related to Noot.  You know I love you all.
