She practiced as a dental assistant for several years at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Jane is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Shelton; her son, Andrew (Nikoo); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Edward. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth Sherman, and her sister, Carolyn Cohen.
Services will be held on Friday, September 18 at 2:00 PM, at Levy-Cooper Chapel, Temple Israel Cemetery, 1680 Hernando Rd, Memphis, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
