Jason Ray Peyton, 16, was tragically killed in an auto accident Thursday, April 28, 2011 on his way to St. Benedict, where he was a student. He is survived by his mother Connie Luke, father Scott Peyton, brother Adam Paul Luke, grandmother Connie “Nanny” Peyton, great grandfather Elmer Ernest “PawPaw” Peyton, numerous family and friends, and beloved cats. Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother Julia “Grandma” P. Smith and grandfather Ray “Papoo” Peyton. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday, May 1 and the service 6 p.m. Monday, May 2 all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Poplar Avenue. The family will have a private burial. Jason will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorials may be sent to The Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
