Jean Lanelle Barnes, age 90 of Collierville, TN. Passed from this life on Monday, April 27, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Barnes was born March 15, 1936 in Memphis to the late James Edward and Myrtle Mae Keller King. She graduated Treadwell High School in 1954. She married the love of her life, Austin Barnes, in June of 1967. Mrs. Barnes worked for Trans Union Credit Bureau in accounting for thirty years. She was a faithful member of Macon Road Baptist Church and would often pray for area churches as well.
She is survived by a daughter; Delisa Spain (Alan), two grandchildren; Briaunna Bonicelli (Christian) and Morgan Black (Josh), four great-grandchildren; Hunter Grace, Ava, Asher and Rayne. Three step-children; Karen Gallagher, Garry Barnes and Mark Barnes.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Austin Barnes, sisters; Helen Adams, June Judd (her twin sister) and a step-daughter; Carrie Miller.
