Jean Berry Taylor, 89, of Wausau, WI and formerly of Memphis, peacefully passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Mt. View Care Center, Wausau with her husband Charles at her side. Jean was born November 17, 1926 in Hobokin, NJ to the late Wesley and Kathryn (Buckley) Berry. Jean married Charles Taylor, who survives, on August 25, 1950 in Memphis. She worked as a telephone operator, bank teller and sold Avon. Jean liked to garden, go walking and take care of her home. She enjoyed being a mother to her daughter, Susan Taylor of New Mexico and grandmother to Madison, Zoe, Max and Baily, who survive. Jean was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Audrey. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10 a.m., at the Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. Pastor Ken Moberg will officiate. Burial will follow at the Trinity Cemetery, Brownsville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
