I have so many fun memories of Jeff. He always made me laugh uncontrollably. His smile was infectious. It's almost as if he never had a bad day. Or I never saw it. Rest in Heaven, my Brother! We will see each other again!!

Jeff Matlock was one of the KINDEST hearts you could have ever met! He was always helpful, met no strangers, and fun loving always. I pray that his family,  friends, FHS classmates, and FedEx colleagues, and church family will soon find healing and peace regarding the tremendous loss of our friend and brother…Jeffery Charles Matlock.

Remembering Jeffrey as an avid participant and supporter of the Men of Promise of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc., our friendship/kinship goes back many years!  His kindness, encouragement, and concern for the well-being of all will always be treasured deep within my heart!  Jeffrey was a fun-loving, genuinely good-natured person with whom it was easy to communicate.  He was well-versed on many subjects and enjoyed conversing about them. His wealth of knowledge on matters of a political nature was impressive!

Jeffrey's passing was unexpected and a total shock to all. As with all things, however, we learn to accept what God allows, even when it is beyond our capacity to understand.  Certainly, we're going to miss his presence here, but we can take comfort in knowing that we will see him again; for as one who died in the Lord, he is now resting safely in the arms of Jesus.  Go on, Jeffrey, take your rest; we'll see you on the other side!
