Nurse Franklin was the epitome of love, dedication and everything good. She embodied the meaning of care. She is well known for her generosity, her patience and her dedication.
For those of us who knew Nurse Franklin we know that her dedication to nursing was only surpassed by her dedication to her children. Not only did she lead them in words, she showed them by example what it means to work hard and to earn a life for themselves. She did this in July of 2002, when she obtained her license as a Registered Nurse. Nurse Franklin gave from the heart. In the few years that we had her with us, she lifted us up when we fell down, she fed us when we were hungry, and she did her best to heal us when we were crushed. There are only kind words that could ever be used to describe her. She was a wonderful, caring mother, devoted daughter, cherished sister, memorable friend and doting nurse. To cherish her memory, Jenny leaves her husband Anthony Franklin; her children Andre, Antwuane, Corey, Stacey and Tiffany; grandson Tyler; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wade and Norma Hunt and Catherine Baldwin; siblings Syritta, Dale, Jesse (Merle), Timothy, Maria, Antoinette, Monique (Darrell), Tamika (Calvin ), Wade Jr. (Marveria), Jacqueline, Jeremiah (Chassidy), Malkia, and Marcus; her best friend of countless years Melanie Burks as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers and patients.
