Jewel Omega Thompson, 88, passed away November 6, 2016. She was born April 18, 1928 to the late James and Nancy Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband Buren Thompson and daughter Linda Thompson. She is survived by her daughters; Nancy (Benny) Rowland and Lisa (Patrick) Upton, grandchildren; Aimee (Billy) Ezell, Aaron Upton, Adam (Brooke) Upton and Alex Upton. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren; Jeweliana, Kaedin, Hayden, Alivia and Alana.
Visitation will be held from 11-1 on November 9, 2016 at Family Funeral Care with the funeral service to begin at 1 pm that same day. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
