Jimmie V. Pannell, died on September 28, 2015. She was 78 years old. A graduate of Humes High School class of 1954, Mrs. Pannell was a member of Decatur Trinity Christian Church. Her favorite loves were her grandchildren and fishing. The family will receive guests for sharing stories and memories on Tuesday, September 29 from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening and funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 30 beginning at two o’clock in the afternoon all at Memphis Funeral Home located at 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Mrs. Pannell is survived by her high school sweetheart of 62 years, Jack Pannell; grandchildren, John Paul and Danielle Pannell; sons, Dana (Jennifer) Pannell and Mark (Lisa) Pannell; sister, Janie Ruth (Doward) Benefield; and brother, Jackie Lawrence. Contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Foundation in Jimmie’s name.
