Joe Poole, of Memphis, Tennessee, died on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Baptist Hospital after fighting a long illness. He loved his family, his friends and life as a whole. He graduated from Byars Hall High School in Covington, TN and attended Memphis State University. Joe was the former owner of 3 Star Muffler Shop. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette; son Todd (Amy); sister Annette Little (Ben); grandchildren Luke and Lola Poole. The family will gather Monday, January 16 from five to seven o'clock in the evening and funeral service will be Tuesday, January 17 beginning at two o'clock in the afternoon all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38199. Dr. David Comperry will lead the services. Memorial contributions in Joe's honor may be given to Emmanuel U.M.C. or the Parkinson's Association.
