John Maxwell Flack Jr.

John Flack, Jr., 67, passed away November 1, 2018 after a long illness. John was born in Memphis, TN and lived his entire life in the city. His parents were John Flack, Sr. and Corrine Howard Flack. He graduated from Overton High School in 1970 and served in the U. S. Army Reserves. He worked at Kellogg in Rossville, TN. In his off time, he enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Flack, Sr., and grandparents. He leaves his loving wife of 34 years, Deborah Schwartz Flack and loving son, John “Trey” Flack III of Memphis. He also leaves his brother in law, Roger Schwartz (Pippa) of Memphis, nephew Robert Flack, Jr. (Ashley) of Blue Mound, IL, niece Brandy Flack (Gary) of Memphis, niece Sloan Schwartz of Memphis and niece Allison Schwartz of Memphis. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends. A brief gathering will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10 AM with his Memorial service starting at 10:30 AM at Colonial Park United Methodist Church, 5330 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Colonial Park United Methodist Church.
